Charles E. Creech, 1942-, was born in West Virginia to parents of America's Great Migration (1915-1970). After high school he migrated to Ohio where he continued his education after service in the U.S. Army. He worked for over 40 years as an ordained minister and substance abuse counselor. He is the author the book, JEWELRY IN THE SEVENTH-DAY ADVENTIST CHURCH, WHY?, and several articles on Biblical and ethical issues in Western society.
LaVern M. Creech, 1946-, was born in Cleveland, Ohio. She has worked as an educator, cultural events coordinator for the borough of Queens, New York, served unofficially as ministers' wives confidant/counselor. She has compiled, edited and distributed numerous booklets on family life and Shepherdess' issues.
LaVern and Charles have been marrried for fifty-four years and are the parents of two adult children and the grandparents of two young men. They currently present a ministry for clergy couples and married couples in general who have experienced marital infidelity or healthy marriages and want to be intentional about preventing such an experience. Their ministry is entitled: "Ministry 2 Ministers".
