Sarah Erdman is an experienced early childhood educator and museum
professional. Her research and professional practice explore ways museums and
educators can connect to make meaningful experiences for young children.
Sarah founded Cabinet of Curiosities LLC and has been an early childhood
consultant for numerous museum and educational institutions including “Wonderplace” at the National Museum of American History and young learner initiatives at the Lyndon B Johnson Presidential Library. She publishes regularly through NAEYC and the American Alliance of Museums, created #MuseumEdChat, a weekly Twitter chat for museum professionals, and is one of the founding members of the Independent Museum Professionals Network within the American Alliance of Museums.
Sarah earned an MAT in Museum Education from The George Washington
University and an AAS in Early Childhood Development from the Northern Virginia
Community College. She currently teaches at FB Meekins Cooperative Preschool
and is on the board of the Northern Virginia AEYC.
