Ryan J. Bradley was born in Bangor, Maine, in 1975, but grew up in various places throughout New England. The son of a pastor, he was raised in a Christian home, but spent years wrestling with the faith to make it his own. After being accepted into a top 25 graduate school for business administration, the growing discontent and need for discovery brought him to the sea, where he worked on various boats traveling throughout the Caribbean looking for some evidence of meaning and a relationship with God. Eventually these pursuits led him into ministry as well, where he served as a pastor and church planter for 14 years before taking leave to help his son recover and rehabilitate from a battle with meningitis and leukemia that left him disabled. Having watched this battle up close, Ryan’s relationship with God became more personal than he ever imagined. A musician, author, and preacher, his work is multi-faceted in showing the need for a deeper relationship with God. Currently, he has two albums listed under the band name Wayfaring Soul and plays and preaches in New England where he still resides.
