Dr. Michael Hare has served over two decades in the role of senior
pastor, primarily in church turnaround ministries; fifteen years
working as a church conflict consultant; and most recently as staff
chaplain and ombudsman at Compassion International. These opportunities
have included:
• Leading turnaround interventions while pastoring diverse
congregations from rural New England to middle-class
suburbia to an inner city in Southern California.
• Serving as a church health consultant with successful
interventions in more than thirty churches in a wide variety
of denominations.
• Leading, training, and helping resolve cross-cultural conflicts
involving multinational staff globally.
Dr. Hare holds a PhD in Conflict Analysis and Resolution and has
also served as an adjunct instructor for several universities and
colleges and is most recently teaching mediation courses in a doctoral
program in Colorado. Michael and his wife, Colleen, live in
Colorado Springs and have four children and six grandchildren
who live in Africa and the U.S.
