Helen Izek was born in 1962 in a remote corner of what was then Northern Rhodesia (now Zambia). The youngest sibling of five, Helen was schooled in Zimbabwe and England, after which she lived and worked in South Africa for ten years.
In 1993, Helen moved to her husband's home country where they raised their three children, now young adults, on a kibbutz on Israel's beautiful Mediterranean coast.
A proud member of a truly global family, Helen’s passion is to write books and tell stories that bring a smile to people’s faces, a warmth to their hearts, and a restoration of faith: faith in a loving God, in the magic of laughter, the family unit, our beautiful world, and the better side of human nature.
