Lucy Ann Carroll is a bestselling author and illustrator with over 20 years of experience in the book publishing industry. She has been the Silicon Valley startups favorite artist and graphic designer for decades. She has also written more than 200 well-loved children's nonfiction picture books.

Lucy dedicates her life to finding new homes for abandoned pets facing euthanasia. She volunteers at numerous Animal Shelters, Wildlife Sanctuaries, and Forest Conservation Projects all across the country.

Lucy is a lifelong vegan. She lives with her husband, their daughters, and their fur babies. Writing stories for young readers is her favorite thing to do.
