Christopher G. Jones

Author Christopher G. Jones, Ph.D., goes under the pseudonym Topper Jones for his fast-paced detective fiction, blending a dash of romance, relentless action, and unforgettable characters. His Thad Hanlon & Bri de la Guerra Mystery Series has earned Readers’ Favorite Five-Star reviews and the Literary Titan Gold Book Award.

Before becoming a full-time crime novelist, Jones worked in public accounting and consulting and as a university professor teaching financial reporting, software development, and business communication. He is the co-author of four textbooks and over fifty professional journal articles. Other publishing credits include general interest newspaper and magazine articles, poetry, creative non-fiction, and children’s fiction.

Jones is a member of The Private Eye Writers of America and the International Thriller Writers, and an affiliate member of the Mystery Writers of America. Jones now lives in the southwestern desert to be near family, but whenever the surf is up, he’ll make the 450-mile trek back to his native California coast for a little “water therapy.”
