Marisa Angulo Riedner

Marisa Angulo Riedner was born in Lima, Peru, in 1968. She holds a degree in Education and a Master’s degree in Psychopedagogy. She also completed postgraduate studies in Special Educational Needs, Inclusion, and Autism Spectrum, as well as training in Sensory Integration, Learning, and Dyslexia.

For many years, she worked with children and families in the fields of learning difficulties and special educational needs. Over time, her professional and personal experience led her to broaden the way she understands people: looking beyond a diagnosis, a behavior, or a specific difficulty.

Today, her work integrates psychopedagogy with an approach centered on the person, the body, and the nervous system. She writes about autism, adolescence, the body and nervous system, and other ways of understanding experiences that we often try to explain solely through the mind.

She is the author of Lo que nadie te dirá del autismo, also published in English, and creator of the podcasts Lo que nadie te dirá del autismo and Ecos de mi alma. Her work brings together her writings, resources, and the different areas of her current practice.
