Jill Johnson

Jill Johnson grew up in the Bronx, New York. Before writing, she was a dance exercise instructor and volunteered as a leader of a youth church group. She began writing in 1994 and has contributed to the Ensign, a worldwide church magazine. She published her first self-help children's book, "Bipolar, Daddy and Me," to empower children to understand bipolar, which often affects family dynamics.

Jill wrote "Just A Sub," her debut short novel as a substitute teacher in a public school district when she had an epiphany that humor, good common sense, and learning trade secrets got her through her day. When Jill isn't writing, she embarrasses her grandkids by having them teach her the latest dance moves. She also likes to sing, primarily karaoke, but could be better.

She lives with her family in Texas, where you’ll never know what weather you'll get.
