Laura Shoemaker

Laura Shoemaker and her husband Jon live in Magnolia, Texas and have two boys, Justin and Brandon, who attend Texas Tech University in Lubbock, TX. Laura graduated from the University of New Orleans in 1995 with a BS in Accounting then worked as a corporate accountant until the birth of her first son in May 1997. Laura and her family had several opportunities to reside overseas, where she became acquainted with many diverse people and cultures. Despite her adventures and accomplishments, Laura battled with her identity for many years. She knew there was more to life than what she was experiencing, but she didn't know how to obtain it. It wasn’t until God touched Laura’s life at the age of 31 that she began to be transformed into someone that she never thought she could be—a content and confident woman. Laura now has the wisdom and passion to help others discover their own inner beauty in Jesus Christ.

Laura has been committed to studying and abiding in God's word since 2005 through the ministry of Bible Study Fellowship. During that time, she was group leader for four years in the Houston, TX area and a group leader for 2 years when she moved overseas to Singapore. She has written 2 books and a Bible study, which she now leads in her community.

Laura's mission is to intentionally and intimately share the truth and love of Christ by: 1. the way she lives her life 2. her books 3. leading, facilitating and teaching Bible studies 3. mentoring and coaching

Laura's dream biography is to reinvest in the lives of others the greatest talent that has been given to her that changed her identity and life—God’s Word. She would want to share God’s Truths with people who desire to know who they are in Jesus Christ. It is the Truth that renews minds and sets people free and it is the love of God that reconciles a heart and empowers a person to overcome the world and self.

Laura promises to deliver the truth, love and identity of Christ. She will help you identify the lies in your soul so you are empowered to replace those lies with the truth. She promises to share and anoint you with the same truth that God used to set her free. As she greatly depends on the Presence of God through prayer, she promises to provide a safe, intimate environment where your spirit and soul can connect with God. She promises to connect with you as she listens well and as you share in God’s Word TOGETHER.
