After winning first place in an essay contest on Thurgood Marshall, I knew that words would always hold me hostage. I’m a lover of romance, mystery, and suspense—stories that keep you turning pages and tug at your heart.

My debut novel was written over two decades ago, born from a need to navigate the grief of losing my grandmother. Those characters became my solace, my escape, and my strength.
