John E. Bauer Ph.D.

John Bauer is the Founder and Senior Strategist of John Bauer Consulting, LLC. He has more than 40 years of experience in the executive leadership of mission-driven, nonprofit organizations. During his career and in his consulting practice he has worked with service organizations in higher education, aging services, veteran’s support, early childhood education, churches, civic service organizations and developmental disability services. He has served on and chaired numerous local, regional and national boards including Lutheran Services in America, Watertown Community Hospital, Bethesda Lutheran Communities and Time of Grace Ministries. John holds a PhD. in Higher Education Administration from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin
