Sues Cummings

Sues Cummings is a singled-headed nonbinary Tasmanian who has lived in island cities such as Hobart, Kagoshima and Sapporo while juggling writing, academia and work. They also lived in Sydney for a bit but we all make mistakes.

Their first series, The Silent Trilogy, is a culmination of everything they wanted to read as a history-and-magic loving queer teen. It's been a long time coming because they keep rejecting their potential publishers when advised on rewrites to promote marketability. Described as 'intense' at mildest, the Silent Trilogy uses urban fantasy to explore the heart of Australia. It's also got about 20 things Sues' friends dared them to put in and the editor left in like an absolute mad lad so like life, it's not always as grim as it sounds.
