Starla Hartless

Starla Hartless lives in the small town of Sweetwater in East Tennessee. Growing up in the Smoky Mountains gives her a unique insight into the sense of community and the culture of the area. She brings this to her first full-length novel, "Carved Wooden Heart" which she wrote with author Elizabeth Horton-Newton. Starla currently lives in Sweetwater with her husky Lincoln and her dulcimer. She is currently working on a series of books dedicated to romance between older women and younger men, The Cougar Love Series. The first book in the series, "Dear Libby..." takes place in Sweetwater and New York City, her favorite big city. Book Two is a steamy holiday tale about a divorced Sweetwater woman who moves to NYC, joins a publishing company, and becomes romantically entangled with a young book cover designer. Her addition of recipes from dishes prepared in the book makes this a great holiday read! She is currently working on Book Three in the series, "Cherokee Kisses", a historical romance about the Cherokee and the Trail of Tears and the love between an Irish immigrant and a young Cherokee man. Descended from Irish and Cherokee parents she is fascinated by the history of both cultures.
