Simonetta. Valenti

Simonetta Valenti is the Head of Chair of French Literature, at the University of Parma (Italy).

Her main works deal with French Symbolism and its representatives (Baudelaire, Mallarmé, Camille Mauclair, etc.), the great authors of XXth century French literature and, especially, Paul Claudel, of whom Simonetta Valenti translated into Italian "Le Soulier de Satin" and "Partage de Midi".

More recently, Simonetta Valenti has focused her researches on Francophone literature and, particularly, on Wajdi Mouawad's works.
