Arlene Curns

Arlene Curns, mother of four and matriarch of a family of 43, wrote her memoir when she was 92 years old. She experienced everything from having ice delivered to their house by horse and wagon to seeing driverless cars on the expressway --- from keeping in touch with penny postcards to the internet highway --- and remembers when gas was 10c a gallon.

When Arlene was three years old, her family moved to Flint, Michigan, also known as "The Vehicle City." Her career in Flint evolved from being a theater usherette at 35c an hour to mahogany row.

Arlene is enjoying her "Golden Years" with family and friends while residing in northern Michigan.
