Julian Johnson

Julian Johnson was born in Aylesbury, UK.

He travelled extensively as a child, as his father was general manager of oil palm and cocoa plantations in various locations around the tropics.

Returning to the UK at age 13, he attended various schools before finishing with fairly decent grades.

He decided to follow in the vague direction of his father and attended Newton Rigg college in Cumbria, to study forestry and forest management. For whatever reasons, this was not to be.

He started working with chainsaws in 1994, after gaining the relevant qualifications and continues to do this today. He lives in the south of the UK with his wife.

Julian loves nature, and this inspires him to write.
