During her career Dr Steph Adam has counselled young people, couples and individuals from diverse cultures in a broad range of topics. She is now retired and specialises in writing psychological topics in accessible language. She uses her research skills along with her 18 years practitioner experience to produce books which are designed to enlighten the reader and to gain more knowledge around the topic in question.
After completing her BSc, Steph Adam went on to achieve a MA Degree and subsequently was awarded a Doctorate Degree in Counselling from the University of Manchester. During 2018 she wanted to make her research degree on dream interpretation available to the public. So, she transformed her thesis and wrote her first book entitled The Dream Interpreters: Which One Or None? This book describes how accurate dream interpretation can only be achieved by the dreamer which leads to a greater awareness and can aid to problem solving in waking life.
Steph Adam was born in Hornsea, East Yorkshire and lives in York with her dog Daisy. She likes to travel, go to theatres or the cinema, eating out with friends and family, and listens to country music. She is currently learning to dance the Margaret Morris Method of dance and reads books by Scandinavian authors such as Jo Nesbo and Camilla Läckberg.
