Hello,

I began writing a long time ago and didn't realise that's what i was doing!

I was born in London, 1971 and as a child would create fantasy 'what if's' from everyday occurrences... and they weren't always pleasant. For example; I'd be walking along a tube platform waiting for a train and in the 1970's with my mum and imagine the walls slowly pushing out so I'd end up on the live tracks! Or seeing cranes lifting steel plinths that come careering down on me. There were also nice ones like scoring a corker of a goal or running faster than every other kid in school, or better still, flying a fighter spaceship and dog fighting android driven drones!

I didn't recognise it as a child but I was creating stories, vivid shorts that fed my fears and hopes.

I loved sci-fi and fantasy as a child and that has continued up to the present (along with comedy - I love a good laugh!) But I guess the darker side of my imagination, which still has its moments of fantasy, has helped me develop into the writer that I am, which is very much about creating scares, drama, tension and hopefully a memorable story.
