I’m a British writer, originally from Yorkshire, but now living near London. I'm married with three grown-up daughters. I've published extensively over the years but The Cretan Prophecy is my first novel. It combines my love of action/adventure and international crime thrillers with a life-long passion for ancient history and languages. It takes you across the Mediterranean from Italy to Spain and Crete, with historical threads based in ancient Crete, Egypt and Roman Spain. I was keen to add splashes of humour and romance and also to include some strong female characters - I would never have been forgiven if I hadn't! It's been great fun to write.
