Tihema Baker

Tihema Baker is a Māori writer of Ngāti Raukawa ki te Tonga, Te Āti Awa ki Whakarongotai, and Ngāti Toarangatira descent, from Aotearoa New Zealand.

He is the author of two novels: "Watched", a Sir Julius Vogel Awards finalist; and its newly-released sequel "Exceptional". Two of his short stories are published in anthologies: "Children of the Mist"; and "Kei Wareware Tātou", which was awarded best short story in te reo Māori (the Māori language) at the Pikihuia Māori Writers Awards 2013.
