Nancy B. Burrell

Nancy B. Burrell is a magna cum laude graduate of Boston University, and holds graduate degrees in Library Science from Case Western Reserve University and in Public Health from the University of South Florida. Her career included being a medical librarian at several hospitals and universities and she also owned and operated two very successful General Nutrition (GNC) stores.

Based on Ms. Burrell's own frightening experience, the book was originally an outgrowth of a extensive research paper on the history of the marijuana-induced psychosis, a format few people would have seen. Re-written as a colorful (and true!)novel set in Key West, it is also an effort to inform the reader of the nightmare possibility of this not-so-uncommon and often misdiagnosed side effect.
