Maggie O'Brien

I was born in Southmead, Bristol in the UK of an English mum and Irish dad but now live and write in Granard. Co. Longford in rural Ireland. I have a degree in English Literature/Philosophy with German Lang. subsid and a Post . Grad In Education. I taught for many years in many strange places and in many countries. My poems have been broadcast on the BBC and I have performed a lot too. My biggest adventure was a 5 year trek from Bristol to Tibet in the 70s.- the content of my 3rd book.
