About the Author

Charles Jackson, by just a roll of the cosmic dice, is a native-born Southerner. His most outstanding life achievements were in elementary school when he was awarded the prestigious Fifth Grade Penmanship Award and in high school, as the author and sole proprietor of his eleventh-grade book "Gems of Inspiration," said to rank with the greatest unpublished works in Western Civilization. Mr. Jackson is a self-described humorist, history buff and political junkie. He is also an avid reader and sports fan. An unrepentant Anglophile and backsliding Episcopalian, he is working at retired and lives in the Promised Land, his beloved South, in Atlanta, Georgia.
