Dr. Griffin is a second-generation anthropologist with a special interest in understanding how subsistence and market activities are connected to culture, demographics, and the environment. Dr. Griffin received his Ph.D. in 1996 from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign.
In addition to academic research, Dr. Griffin does applied studies such as competitive intelligence and customer experience studies, behavioral communication research, Design Thinking workshops and helps scholars publish their research through technical editing, advising, and hands-on workshops.
