I was born in New York City and grew up on Long Island, I'm married with two grown children and a mini golden doodle named Riley. We live in Westport, Connecticut. After spending years in advertising, I began seriously writing novels in 2010. I love dogs and eating ice cream with demitasse spoons to make it last longer. My other passions are traveling to exotic places and having small intimate dinner parties where hopefully nobody gets murdered...but you never know.

My most recent disappointment— trying to write "murder" and "redrum" on my glass shower doors while taking a shower. My hope was that they'd appear later when my husband took a shower. Unfortunately, the glass must have been anti-fog and it ruined my whole day. But it would have been so good.

My novels are also available in audiobooks and many have been translated into foreign languages. My newest psychological thriller, THE GIRLS LEFT BEHIND will be released in October 2026 by Joffe Books.
