David Patrick Burdine

David Patrick Burdine (D.P. Burdine) grew up in the Upstate of South Carolina , but now presently resides near San Antonio, Texas with three of his four children and his wife Riza.

D.P. Burdine grew up in the rural outskirts of Greenville County, South Carolina.

It was this rural living and being near the Textile Mills and their Villages that have inspired some of D.P.'s stories, including the inspiration for the fictional, but yet charming Brackens Mill Village that has been prevalent in some of D.P.'s greatest stories!
