Ryan J. Lyons

Ryan J. Lyons is both a writer and a lifelong enthusiast for cryptozoology specifically and the paranormal generally. He currently writes in the fairly obscure sub-genre of "cryptofiction" which, for those who are unfamiliar, is fiction that deals specifically with cryptids such as Bigfoot, the Loch Ness Monster, and el Chupacabras. His first novel, "Sojourn with the Sasquatch", made it to the 2018 long list in the paranormal category of the Chanticleer International Book Awards. His second novel, "Drums and Dragons" is about mokele-mbembe and other dinosaurs in Africa--with a bit of African magic and witchcraft mixed in--and is currently being edited and prepared for publication.
