Books by this author:

'Pruning Balloons & Kissing Bubbles’: A Collection of 111 Poems - With 65 illustrations

The poems in this collection are from my six poetry books, plus some new ones. They will be seen as diverse, like many aspects of life. The title refers to impossible things - transience and impermanence, and so often the poems speak of love and loss, dreams unlived as well as joy and reminiscence.

‘Along A Long Memory Lane’: This illustrated book of 40 poems is about my life up till the age of ten.

‘Sometimes I’ve heard it said, people return to their childhood memories more as time passes, and age delivers details long-forgotten. In my case the details related here have stayed vividly in mind throughout. The poems are about my life and events up to the age of ten, and I believe if we all look back, we can find the roots and formation of our character traits present within our experiences, instinct and actions there.

‘The Ah! Eek! & Yuck! Book’ – Witty Wisdom in 20 poems, has a cast of twenty characters who convey messages of wisdom told in humorous verse which aim to inspire, guide - & warn! Appealing and vividly illustrated, this book is suitable for children over 10 (and can be appreciated by anyone with a sense of humour!)

‘Turning Leaves & Blue Fruit’: This collection of 55 poems speak with love, passion, desire, sadness and lust.

Many are more personal as well as romantic.

Certain poems within will be judged too graphic, erotic or sensual for some, yet their candid expression may speak to others and echo with recognition.

Illustrated.

‘Hurricane Heart Lines’: the third poetry collection by Pamela Blanchfield in which her poems often speak of friendship and love.

She ponders life, its mysteries and fate in this sensual, mystical book.

The 111 poems are accompanied by her vibrant and original illustrations.

‘Port Sunlight Village’: is a book that gives a fascinating insight into Port Sunlight, with text and 30 illustrations. Here one can read about this beautiful world-renowned garden village, its creation, development, history, buildings and houses. Port Sunlight, Wirral, is an early example of social housing created by Lord Leverhulme which is still much-admired and visited today.

‘“Why?” she Wondered’ is a book written for young people who may have questioned why they lack certain attributes and qualities. This book has empowering thoughts and hopefully some pointers and answers, with month-by-month positive moon wisdom guidance.

‘My Moon Sketch & Note Book’ is a journal you can begin to use this at any month in the year, and where you can jot down your personal full moon plans, thoughts, affirmations, spells and any other notes or sketches you make at this special time.

It can be empowering to have fresh ideas, take action, and look ahead. Then as plans develop you can reflect and refer to these notes on your new journey.

With 152 pages, Moon thoughts and advice, and 120 pages for sketches and notes

With 12 full page monthly illustrations & 121 vignettes.

‘Horace the Hedgehog’ is a book for children which gives an insight into the life of these wonderful creatures. Vividly illustrated throughout, the book is fun as well as educational, and is suitable for children of all ages.

‘Naked Love Tokens’ (for adults), is a collection of 122 poems with 38 black and white illustrations.

The poems within are sensual, romantic and mystical, with thoughts on life, friends, memories of loves, past and present, remembering both ones who have gone and those who remain - loved in mind and heart. Candidly recalled - some poems speak with joy or sadness as well as a spiritual awareness, yet they also have hope for future dreams and desires.

‘The Cats’ Hotel’ has 175 illustrations, 178 pages and over 30,000 words, and relates the individual true stories of fifteen of her cats, vividly depicted and told with humour, which will appeal to cat lovers of all ages.

The Cats’ Hotel is a safe and special place in England, like a feline magnet, where homeless, hungry and sometimes ill cats are attracted and have their lives transformed within its caring environment. You can read about their contrasting personalities and their quirks, crazy adventures and (sometimes) mishaps. Despite their differences, as in any social group, individual roles and strengths are revealed, eventually resulting in compromise, harmony and understanding. These heart-warming stories have only previously been available separately as fifteen ebooks, which are currently also on Amazon.

‘Show Me The Mountain Bright Meadows Below’ (for adults), is her first collection of poetry with 100 poems and 70 vibrant illustrations. ‘… intriguing, sometimes challenging, sad, beautiful, evocative and thought-provoking. Metaphysical, mystical, magical - the poems speak of love, lust, dreams, desire, loss, people, places, and our shadows both in reality and what the poet perceives as glimpses through the veils to beyond, or the unknown.’

She has also produced and published many items including Beatles Quiz books, and has painted numerous commissions over the years.
