I write all over the map. I write short. Most of my work is somewhere from thirty to a hundred pages. This is not me being lazy (well, not that lazy) but because that's what makes sense for what I write. I feel that my ideas are good for eighty or ninety pages, and then they are done. Why force them to be longer. They are always the length they should be. I write short story collections, novels, memoir, weird fake writing manuals, works on pop culture and other things. I never understood when people say they can't get an idea of what to write about. I think that's the easy part.
