Sally Cissna

Sally Cissna was born in Woodstock, Illinois in 1950. While she grew up in Northern Illinois and central Wisconsin, Woodstock remained an idyllic place to which she and her parents returned many, many times over the years. No wonder, it was the history of Woodstock and her family's part in its heyday that became the fodder for her writing. A renaissance woman, Sally has a background in history, engineering, communication, and theology, all of which feed her historical narrative. She lives in Oshkosh, Wisconsin with her spouse of 30 years and various four-legged friends.
