Timothy Asiedu

Timothy Asiedu is the Founder and Managing Director of TIM TECHNOLOGY SERVICES LIMITED. He plays a Researcher role for the organization.He is married and lives with the family in Accra, Ghana. Timothy has authored two(2) books on Information Security and two book on E-Business. Timothy career in Information / Cyber Security dates back to 1997 when he took up the role of Information Security Co-ordinator with DHL Ghana Ltd. Before then he was the Systems Administrator of the same company. Later he founded TIM TECHNOLOGY SERVICES LIMITED, Accra, Ghana in 2001 through Five(5) District Assemblies ICT Education program in Ghana, which lasted till 2007. In 2008, he lectured on a part-time basis for the first and second year students in IT for the Business School of Maranatha University College, Accra, Ghana. From 2003 to 2018, he was the Principal Consultant for SPSS software in Ghana, before the acquisition of SPSS Inc by IBM. He has played a lot of consulting role for a some organizations in Ghana and abroad like World Bank, UN and others. He obtained a PhD in Networking / Internet (e-Commerce, e-Business, e-Education, ......) with IPSI Belgrade, Ltd, from 2003-2008. Later in 2018, he obtained his MBA with Akamai University , US. His Bsc. (Hons) was obtained from University of Ghana, Legon, Accra in 1988. In 2018, his paper titled : " The Internet, an invaluable tool for Ghana and beyond", won an award for his organization by REV International Conference. He has also been involved in a lot of significant research programs with Elsevier, Amsterdam; Springer ; Springer Nature; Mosharaka for Research Studies and others. In 2025/2026, he served as a Technical Committee member(TPC) in reviewing research papers for graduate students and other participants for IEEE ITNAC 2025 & 2026 and IEEE InCIT 2025 Conferences. In 2026, he joined Prof. Hubert Rampersad of EIU in launching his innovative book titled: "The Four–Box Sustainable Innovation Ecosystem" and others. He had a presentation on Information Security - E-Fraud in 2006 at La Mirage, Las Vegas, NV, US.Timothy K. Asiedu, PhD is a member of IEEE.
