Tom Phillips

Born in the 80's and raised in a quiet Leicestershire village, Tom developed a love for stories and the folklore of his local area. After flirting with writing through school, he picked up the pen (or laptop) as an adult. writing several short stories and beginning his first novel, Tom began writing articles for websites on folklore. This was all boosted by his career as a teacher and storyteller. Over the last few years, Tom has written books for the History Press on folk tales aimed at children. Using his lifetime of experience of working with children and as a dad of two, his books have helped enthrall and educate children from Leicestershire to the whole of the UK.
