Natalie Ann

Born and raised in Southern California, Natalie Ann finds herself most commonly inspired by the varying terrain of her home state. Her first poetry collection, "HANDS LIKE OCEANS" (released June 1, 2019) explores the California coast, paralleling the Pacific's beaches and strong, enticing current to universally known themes such as love and finding yourself as a young person.

However, in her newest work, "LIBRARY OF LOST LINES" (to be released late 2022/early 2023), the poet leaves behind her familiar coastline to travel instead toward darker, richer waters. Her poetry showcases a certain emphasis on mental health, focusing on normalizing emotions as you feel them instead of minimizing them. Her next release explores grief in a substantial way, having lost a loved one in 2020.

The collection also focuses on sexuality, weaving pieces on love and lust throughout. With a focus on Greek and Ancient Mythos, "LIBRARY OF LOST LINES" is perfect for the souls that seem to haunt the dark, old part of their local libraries, hungry for the most ancient of stories.
