James Koenig

I have been illustrating children’s books books for over 15 years, having illustrated over 65 published books. Throughout the years, I have illustrated for publishing companies as well as independent authors. I enjoy creating colorful, fun, and imaginative illustrations for kids and adults alike. I strive to blend my creativity with emotion in each character and illustration.

Some of my favorite things to draw are animals, cute kids, monsters, aliens, and interesting environments. I love illustrating humorous scenes and I love drawing adorable, endearing scenes. Plus, I love trying out different illustration styles for different books.

I have a passion for illustrating books and I feel grateful to be able to work on so many already in my career. And I always look forward to what new books I will be illustrating in the future.

When I'm not drawing, you can find me collecting toys & figurines, reading fantasy & scifi, or having fun as an amateur puppeteer for neighborhood kids.
