Indie author and professional globetrotting expat B.A. Schummer has lived in China, the USA, and Japan. Along the way, he fell in love with taking pictures, telling stories, and writing. After the birth of his son, Schummer wrote his first book, "Jamie Wang and The Qi Magician," about a boy of mixed heritage, much like his blended family, inspired by Chinese mythology, and his time living abroad, immersed in his host country's culture.
Out now, Schummer's second book, "Kami Academy - The Rotten Torii," is set in Japan and delves into the mythology of the mysterious world of Japanese kami and yokai.
Currently, he is working on the sequel and the German translation of Kami Academy while being a 30-something-year-old student in Germany.
