John D Saunders

As the Creative Director and Founder of 5four Digital®, John D Saunders leads a team of borderless, passionate brand and web design experts with team members from all around the world. With a wealth of experience in branding, web design, and development, John and his team are dedicated to creating user experiences that drive startup success through increased sales and lead flow.

A lifelong creative with an analytical mind, John is skilled at making data-driven decisions that enhance the user interface experience.

Over the course of his career, he has worked with more than 200 brands, including Amazon, Columbia University, Subnautica, Audi, and Firelight Films, using no-code tools like Webflow to craft beautiful and functional websites. In addition to his role at 5four Digital, John is also the Founder of Black Illustrations, an illustration platform that provides images of Black people for use in digital projects. With over 100,000+ downloads, the platform has had a global impact, working towards greater inclusion of Black people in the digital space.

John is also an avid Financial Nerd. As a student of financial literacy with the goal of generational wealth, John launched a small blog called urbanwallet.org to provide millennials with the necessary tools to make informed decisions about investing and money.

Reaching over 500,000+ online users across multiple platforms, John’s goal of “financial freedom for all” was made possible by assisting his audience with the tools to make informed decisions about their finances. urbanwallet® was recently acquired by Financial Maven, Tiffany Aliche known aptly as The Budgetnista.

John enjoys reading, spending time with family, going on outdoor adventures, and is an avid fan of Marvel, Star Wars, anime, and cinema. He lives in Florida with his wife Deandra, their two children, and their Goldendoodle, Chubbs.
