Dorothy Tully

Dorothy Tully has always been an artist. She has way too many ideas at all times! Dorothy loves to draw, write, and bring those ideas to life! Buy art prints and handmade sewing projects at Dorybird dot com.

All of Dorothy's books are made with traditional artist tools and *no AI!* In a sea of bland computer art, Dorothy hopes you find her books refreshing and authentic.

Dorothy's children's books are fun, happy, whimsical, and full of detailed hand drawn art. The best thing ever is a good laugh, so her books tend to be silly! Dorothy creates lovable characters, uses language that engages kids (and adults), and has SO MUCH FUN drawing the pictures! When she's not at her art desk, she's playing with fabrics at her sewing machine.

Dorothy is constantly inspired by her two daughters, her husband (who encourages her wacky ideas), and observing the world around her. She lives in breezy Rhode Island with her hubby, daughters, two sweet dogs, punky cat, and a crazy garden she loves to tend.
