J. Boise is the m/m romance pen-name for a speculative fiction author who decided all her stories should be released even if they didn't fit in with her established brand. The name J. Boise was born to give life to romance books about young guys trying to figure out love, life, themselves, and relationships.

J. Boise likes to focus on relationships that evolve over the tumultuous times of young adulthood. True love takes work; no inconveniences are off limits in her stories, and her characters are always a little broken. They struggle with abuse, denial, self-harm, apathy, and more, and they may not always come away unscathed, for even the most imperfect people deserve love.

J. Boise’s books have a variety of characters and heat levels. Their sexualities and the nature of their sexual relationships vary from book to book. As spicy as her love scenes can get, J. Boise’s focus will always be on the heart-warming connection between two lost souls in a cruel world.
