Bio

As an elementary educator in years past, I spent many hours reading aloud to students in hopes of not just entertaining them, but to instill a love of being lost in a book. I want to immerse readers in stories with history and heritage. My hope is to stimulate readers to investigate their own sense of place and being. Grandmother's Fan became a means of doing that. If we lose the curiosity to understand the past and how it relates to the present and future we are the poorer for it.
