James Taylor is a writer and podcaster with many strong opinions, loosely held, about the proper way to fool your reader—without losing their trust or interest. When he’s not writing mystery novels, he enjoys reading speculative fiction, haunting local coffee shops, traveling up and down the west coast, and playing with his cat Trudy Campbell. He has a film & digital media degree from the University of California, where he learned how to make playing video games part of the curriculum. He lives in the Golden State.
