Tom Drake-Brockman became an athiest and humanist from an early age but finding secular humanism unable to solve key human problems, he decided to take a closer look at the teachings of Jesus as recorded in the four Gospels. He was amazed to find how little of the standard religious fare appeared there and how intensely humanistic they were, he embarked on deeper study and attained a Master of Theology degree. His current book, 'Bad Faith: a spiritual humanist alternative for Christianity and the West' is the product of his research.
