Ross Young is an author from Birmingham, UK, and his debut work, Travel, Tie Up The Lion, is an insight into voluntourism and volunteering abroad. In his other professional capacities as an International Development Manager, and the Director of a small charity called The Zuri Project Uganda, Ross has spent a lot of time trying to understand why many volunteer placements do more harm than good.
Ross is also the Founder & Director of Bora Coffee Co. an indie coffee house based in Birmingham, UK, where they exclusively sell coffee from the African continent and reinvest some of the profits into their charity, The Zuri Project Uganda.
In his spare time, Ross loves to travel and has visited over fifty countries across the world. He loves learning about new cultures and would one day love to publish a travel narrative. He is married and settled in Birmingham, waiting for the next adventure.
Ross would be delighted to hear from you if you wish to contact him - just visit his website - www.boraventures.online and use the email form to send him a message.
