Daniel Carr

Daniel Joseph Carr was born October 21st, 1991 in Atlanta, GA. For more than half of the time since, the “Iris” Universe has been a part of his imagination. Blessed to find “Write Words Inc.” at the age of 18, original print of the first two books of the series were published. Since then his life’s work has grown to a universe and the series has expanded to great length and multiple formats.

With a Bachelor’s of Science Degree in Film/Media Production and nearly a decade of film work under his belt, the next several years his focus will be on a writing career. Among projects penned, a pilot script for a sports docuseries featuring the Rose Bowl’s history, and around 20 scripts of researched content for educational programs. This southern author thrives while writing creative scripts in short film, feature, episodic, and series formats.

He lives and works in Nashville, TN as continues to write within the “Iris” universe and otherwise.
