Dr. Michael Amanfi

Dr. Michael Amanfi is a visionary technologist, accomplished author, and award-winning leader in the software industry whose work sits at the intersection of innovation, strategy, and human potential.

A proud recipient of the prestigious Microsoft MSDN Code Award, Dr. Amanfi led key initiatives for major institutions such as Bank of Montreal, Deloitte Canada, CTV Channel 9, and Morguard Investments Limited. His academic background is equally distinguished. In addition to an MBA from the Vancouver-based University Canada West, Dr. Amanfi holds a Doctorate in Management, a Master of Science in Information Technology Management, and a Bachelor of Science in Software Development from Grand Canyon University. His doctoral research on cloud data breach prevention strategies has informed both enterprise practice and academia. He is also the author of the well-received textbook, Implications of Cloud Computing for Small and Medium Enterprises, available on Amazon.

Dr. Amanfi has written multiple textbooks on qualitative research methodology and the PhD, EdD, dissertation process. He is the original author of the 4-Step thematic data analysis process widely used by doctoral researchers pursuing research in the qualitative methodology.
