Samuel Dean

Captain Samuel Dean is the award winning author of An Untamed Sea Story, the 2020 Eric Hoffer Book Award Finalist.

He is a retired captain of the "New York State Fisheries, Game and Forest Commission" and a USCG licensed captain. His hobbies include: sailing, restoring old motorcycles and capturing the past in humorous stories. He is a resident Adirondack author, and is ever so grateful for the privilege of living in "God's Country."
