Kevin lives on the Central Coast of New South Wales, Australia, and has a wide range of interests. These include squash (he's pretty good), running (he's very fit), golf (he's very bad), surfing (he thinks he's pretty good but let's not spoil his fantasy), bike riding, tennis and music (he plays guitar in a covers rock band). He lives on a small farm (55 acres) with his wife and his daughter and her family. Together they have 1 cat, 3 dogs, 6 sheep, 10 pigs, 12 ducks, 100 cattle and 2,000 chickens. Kevin's daughter and husband run the farm and Kevin's contribution to farm work is limited to patting the dogs, because he is so busy writing. He also enjoys chainsawing fallen trees and is known to have the largest stockpile of firewood in the valley.
Kevin writes for an international magazine, My Christian Daily, and his articles regularly feature on the front page. He also writes a weekly blog at Smartfaith.net and hosts a Facebook page called Reflections on Faith and Life.
Kevin also writes fiction novels under the name Kevin J Simington. He is best known for his science fiction quadrilogy, the Starpath Series, the first book being "The Stars That Beckon."
