Ed Roop

Ed Roop was born in Radford, VA, and grew up in the nearby community of Belsprings. Among his early memories was of a grandfather who sat on his porch and shared from memory God's Word. His porch chats with Poppy Pettry sparked an interest in Ed, and he always wanted to know more about the Bible. In 1974, his life was transformed by the grace of God as he trusted in Jesus to save him. God's plan for Ed was to teach the Bible, and to effectively share God's Truth; Ed had to read and study. Today, he is a retired school Bible teacher who wants to share what he has learned with others. Along with his wife Teresa, they minister to others, with both sharing through their writings. It is essential to leave a legacy of faithfulness for our children and grandchildren while trying to reach others with God's incredible message.
