Gary Cuthbert

Gary Cuthbert was born at the beginning of the 1960s . He grew up in the north east of England and spent a large part of his life in and around the retail trade, which is how he came to write Store Wars, which was based around stories and events that he experienced or heard about. He has always loved books and his favourite reads are The Saint series by Leslie Charteris and the Inspector Montalbano books by Andrea Camilleri. He is an Independent Author and writes what the mood takes him.

The Carter and Carter series revolves around brother and sister Nikki and Michael Carter and tell's of their adventures.

He started out by writing fan fiction around The Saint character but bringing the stories up to date setting them in the 21st Century. These of course are no longer available to purchase. After writing Carter and Carter ,The Man with No Name he wrote Carter and Carter ,How It All Began before writing Store Wars which is a humourist story about a corner shop and it's owner, a subject he knows well having grown up around the retail trade. From there he wrote Agents of the ESA, which is a future set story about security agents when crime had become a thing of the past and what happens when a murder takes place.

On a lighter note Life and Death of Harry Stone is a dark comic tale of life after death, including meeting Lucifer. Next up came Chequered Flag, which is the comic tale of a local model racing club.

In his newest work, CARRYing ON DANCING, it is something he had tried several times to write but failed to do so as he couldn't get the feel of the subject or didn't wish to disrespect the memories of some of Britain's most beloved entertainers. Finally finding a subject to match with what he was trying to achieve it is now available.
