Anne Skyvington

Anne Skyvington is a Sydney based author who, after decades of teaching languages, began writing full time in 2000. Her first novel 'Karrana' is now live on Amazon as an ebook, as well as in paperback form.

As an adult, Anne has lived in cities, Sydney and Paris, however her childhood was spent in a small country district surrounded by nature, which informs much of her writing style.

During the past decade, she became increasingly interested in the slowly emerging ‘Internet’, and the opportunities it brought to writers everywhere. She was immediately fascinated with the concept of ‘blogging’, digital marketing and self publishing. Her own blog ‘The Craft of Writing’, journals Anne’s educational/creative writing experience, beginning as a complete Internet newby, and progressing to digital expertise in the field of Self Publishing.

Anne is a mother to a son and daughter. Also a Grandmother to seven much adored Grandchildren; she shares them with Mark, her loving and exceptionally supportive Husband of forty-four years. The two live happily together near the beach in the Eastern Suburbs of Sydney.
